Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are presented beautifully. Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance in a friendly manner to enhance their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory. Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills and a willingness to help both guests and team members as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
