Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and providing change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to proper food handling guidelines.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience preferred, with knowledge of food service operations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills with attention to detail in order taking and serving. Experience in hospitality or guest services is a plus. Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
