Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch service while ensuring that our customers feel welcomed and valued. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are noted. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or needs promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary. Assist with food preparation and handling as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts.

Experience

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with food preparation and handling practices is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while ensuring quality service. Experience with cashiering and cash handling is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor to help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
