Job Description
Jumi Gozen Bar is a Japanese sushi bar located near the Fairview Mall and the subway station.
We offer a full-service dining, beverages sales, as well as take-out sushi. We offer a sushi counter (omakase) style dining experience.
We are looking for part time and full time servers who will be responsible for taking orders and presenting food to our customers. Primary Duties include taking food and drink orders, and ensuring that tables are served properly and that all payments are collected.
Server Responsibilities:
Provide table service Answer menu questions and make drink recommendations Maintain table appearance Course food items appropriately Perform side work and end-of-shift closeout tasks
Server Requirements:
Prior serving experience required Professional appearance Knowledge about Japanese cuisine Knowledge about wine and beverage pairings Presentation skills Attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
serving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Smart Serve (required)
