Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all orders are entered correctly. Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and maximize sales opportunities. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for guest checks. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Assist in food preparation when necessary, adhering to food handling guidelines. Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Experience

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry and food service operations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing checks effectively.
