Vito's restaurant seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while efficiently managing orders and delivering quality service.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately using hand written methods Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation. Manage multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating strong time management skills. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring excellent guest services. Follow all food safety guidelines during food handling and preparation.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation regulations is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are necessary for effective guest interactions. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
