Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience. Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system, and ensure timely delivery to the table. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience for guests. Ensure all food handling and safety standards are met, including proper sanitation practices in accordance with health regulations. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to sanitation standards throughout the restaurant.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while providing attentive service. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential. Basic math skills for processing payments and managing cash transactions effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
