We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Micros POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and serving stations. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all items meet quality standards before serving. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry. Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, with basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player who thrives in a collaborative atmosphere while also being able to work independently when necessary.
