Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards. 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations on food and beverage selections Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring accuracy in orders Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery Adhere to all sanitation and food safety guidelines during service Process payments accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively Experience with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is highly desirable Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently Proven sales skills with an emphasis on upselling menu items Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus Fine dining experience preferred but not required Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations Previous restaurant experience in various roles such as serving, hosting, or bussing is beneficial Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members A commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the dining area

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
