We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through attentive service, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of our menu offerings. Your ability to manage time efficiently and work collaboratively with kitchen staff will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Square POS, ensuring all details are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips according to restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both the dining area and service stations, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Square POS, is a plus but not required as training will be provided. Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest services.
