Role & Responsibilities:

Provide an exceptional guest experience by engaging with guests in a timely & friendly manner

Take food and drink orders accurately and follow up throughout the guest's experience

Enter orders into POS system and translate special requests/dietary needs to the kitchen

Competently understand the menu and make item suggestions

Ensure guests are enjoying their items ordered and take action to correct any concerns

Collect payment from guests and positively end their experience at the Blackshop

Clean tables, empty garbage's, mop floors and assist with routine cleaning responsibilities

Help with food preparations when necessary

Assist with supply inventory and advise management of low inventory

Other responsibilities as requested by management

Qualifications and Skills:

Highschool Diploma

SmartServe Certification

G2 or G License with a clean driver's abstract

Provide excellent customer service in a fast paced work environment

Strong communication skills

Have a positive and solution oriented attitude

Ability to work well under pressure and with a team

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to perform high-quality work while unsupervised

Ability to handle monetary transactions accurately

Availability to work in shifts including during weekends and evenings
