We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively with the kitchen staff will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and serving stations. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and address any guest concerns promptly. Foster a positive dining environment by providing excellent guest services.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and requests simultaneously. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. Familiarity with sanitation practices in both dining areas and kitchen environments is a plus. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
