Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order completion. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Experience

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a focus on food service roles. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations in the kitchen. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
