Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and upsell additional products when appropriate. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety guidelines. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to restaurant specifications. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals and maintain efficient workflow. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in customer service, food handling, and sanitation practices.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Experience in the food industry with prior restaurant experience preferred. Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is beneficial.
