Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable and memorable dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by bussing tables promptly and assisting with sanitation efforts. Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction and positive guest relations. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
