Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering excellent service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation when necessary.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly. Provide detailed menu information to guests, including daily specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their dining experience. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in order accuracy and guest satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table settings and sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, addressing any guest concerns or special requests promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of food handling practices. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous for efficient order processing. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts while providing top-notch guest services. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members alike.
