Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience. Assist with food handling and preparation as needed while following safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential. Experience with cash handling procedures is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest services is highly valued.
