Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and menus. Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt service.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience preferred with a strong understanding of food service operations. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices. Ability to handle basic math calculations for order processing and cash handling. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and coworkers. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary.
Start date is immediately. This is a seasonal job as the course closes in November. Successful applicants will be invited to return when we re open in April.

Pay: $15.70 per hour
