We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Server to join our growing team in an upscale restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experience, strong understanding of food, and formal wine training. We will only consider applicants with 2 years of experience in a similar level of restaurant

Duties

Greet and seat guests, giving menu tours, and ensuring a great experience Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system Provide detailed information about menu items Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience. Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines throughout the shift.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Previous restaurant experience preferred, with knowledge of the food industry. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial for assisting kitchen staff as needed.
