Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food and beverage selections.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area and service stations. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to all food handling guidelines. Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a strong background in food service and hospitality. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Proficient in basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages as well as stand for extended periods. A passion for the food industry and providing outstanding guest services is highly valued.
