Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and upsell specials to enhance the guest experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Assist with food preparation as needed and adhere to all food handling guidelines.

Requirements

Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Experience with cash handling and cashiering responsibilities is an advantage. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Pay: $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
