Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and recommendations for upselling. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are met. Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation practices throughout service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest experiences. Experience with cashiering and cash handling is an asset. A background in hospitality or guest services is highly desirable.
