Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
Accurately enter orders into the POS system, preferably using Micros POS.
Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are met.
Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and time management skills.
Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately through cashiering duties.
Upsell menu items to increase overall sales and enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and adhere to food safety regulations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
