Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality food and beverage service. Your ability to manage time effectively, communicate with guests, and work collaboratively with kitchen staff will be essential to your success in this role.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines. Foster positive guest interactions by providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or issues.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and hospitality. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
