We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing outstanding guest services in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, utensils, and serving stations. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Assist in food preparation as needed and support kitchen operations during peak hours. Uphold high standards of hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of food service operations. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash accurately. Experience with POS systems is highly desirable; familiarity with Micros POS is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of sanitation practices within the kitchen and dining areas is important. A passion for hospitality and providing memorable guest experiences is essential.
