What We're Looking For

The

Server

is responsible for creating a pleasant, respectful, and efficient dining experience for residents and their guests. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about service, detail-oriented, and values meaningful interactions with seniors..

Key Responsibilities

Set up and maintain clean, organized dining and servery areas before and after meal service

Serve meals and beverages in a timely, courteous manner, ensuring proper portion control and food safety

Monitor resident attendance and meal preferences, and report any concerns to supervisors

Assist with meal preparation and dessert plating when required

Transport and maintain food at proper serving temperatures

Maintain kitchen hygiene standards by cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, carts, dishes, and equipment

Support colleagues during peak times and collaborate to ensure smooth and efficient service

Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols

Uphold privacy, dignity, and respect for all residents

Maintain accurate logs for temperatures, attendance, and cleaning tasks

Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience in a hospitality, dining, or healthcare setting is preferred

Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable with light lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods

Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and team spirit

A compassionate and respectful approach to working with seniors

High attention to detail and cleanliness, able to lift 50lbs

Ability to work independently and follow written/verbal instructions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
