Position Overview

Fresh recognizes that our Front of House staff are an integral part of our team. Reporting to the General Manager, a Server is responsible for increasing customer satisfaction by placing and serving orders accurately in our busy restaurants. A Server must have exceptional menu knowledge and understand how to navigate ordering rules to meet the needs of our guests. This can include promoting marketing initiatives and educating our guests on the Fresh App or on what makes our menu unique. The ideal candidate would be an energetic, personable, team player who can communicate clearly while working in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

We operate 7 days a week between the hours of 10:00 AM - 12:00 AM, there is flexibility within the schedules, but all staff must be available to work weekends. All shifts are about 3-8 hours.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Open and flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
  • Able to complete physically demanding tasks - standing for long periods, lifting 50lbs, bending and reaching, etc.
  • Pleasant, outgoing and has a general upbeat personality to welcome and assist guests
  • Comfortable working with urgency during busy periods and handling cash
  • Must have a Smart Serve certification
  • Experience working at a cafe, restaurant, or fast-food chain

Summary of Responsibilities
  • Works with the FOH team to maintain an inspection-ready restaurant, including the host stand, retail shelves, dining, and storage areas at all times
  • Completes a quality check before serving each dish and drink
  • Enters orders into our POS system accurately with correct notes
  • Communicates with BOH about orders regarding chit times, allergies, etc.
  • Prevents shortages by restocking work stations with packaging products, etc.
  • Provides table side services and customer satisfaction by assisting guests quickly and professionally
  • Increases revenue by suggesting specials and using product knowledge
  • Ensures a smooth service by being resourceful when problems arise
  • Memorizes menu items and ingredients to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Communicates openly with management about concerns regarding workflow and escalations
