Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer service while efficiently managing food and beverage orders.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for guest checks. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Provide excellent guest services by responding to inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.

Skills

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
