Seniors In Partnership Coordinator

Job Description

The Senior Coordinator will provide information about services and connect with Senior Stakeholders to encourage collaboration between Senior servicing stakeholders in Cranbrook and surrounding area. We are seeking a dynamic and personable Coordinator to join our team.

Seniors Meeting Seniors (twice per month) and if rescheduled: Seniors Meeting Youth (once per month)



Coordinate intergenerational activities Coordination and planning of all events in partnership with co-facilitator(s) Facilitate and create events where everyone feels welcomed Plan activities and topics for each event based on need or topics of interest that arise Recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with reminder calls, refreshments, setup and cleanup Track attendance numbers and record contacts of attendees Advertise and promote events in the Community including the website, Facebook, and other socials

Stakeholder Engagement and Senior Support



Proficiency in Word for managing web content related to partnerships. Collaborate with new and existing Stakeholders to share information about existing and new services Refer Seniors to necessary services and suggestions of businesses that might be able to assist them Identify service gaps in seniors' services and report to them to the Society Coordinate Grand Pals/Seniors Meeting Seniors programs Coordinate Pen Pals program if rescheduled Show strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Show excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage stakeholders effectively

Other:



Research and apply for grants to support Seniors in Partnership (SIP) and its programs. Work with SIP Chair or Coordinator Liaison Director as needed. Attend SIP Society Meetings and maintain statistical data and provide a report to the Society at every meeting Participate in other meetings and representation of SIP on various Committees at the SIP Society's request Other duties that arise from project grants or directives from the Society
This is a part time, semi-flexible position. Hours of work are 20-30 hours per month on a contract basis.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
