British Columbia Conservation Foundation's vision is for thriving fish and wildlife populations in British Columbia. Our mission supports fish and wildlife through education, collaboration and habitat conservation. The Foundation is a mission-driven, registered non-profit and charity. We are one of the most active environmental non-profits in the province and were established in 1969.
BC Conservation Foundation in partnership with the Coastal Douglas-fir Conservation Partnership (CDFCP) is seeking a Coordinator to provide administrative support to the multi-stakeholder Steering Committee. The CDFCP provides a forum for the conservation and stewardship of Coastal Douglas-fir and Associated Ecosystems (see www.cdfcp.ca for information). The CDFCP currently has funding through the Federal Canada Nature Fund Priority Places initiative and through the Nature Smart Climate Solutions Fund.
The Coordinator will provide administrative and program support for the Steering Committee, its associated working groups and Program Manager to assist with implementing the CDFCP Conservation Strategy and priorities identified under the Priority Places and Nature Smart Climate Solutions Funds. The individual brings a positive can-do attitude to the job, as well as a willingness to learn, adapt and respond quickly while maintaining a high standard of attention to detail. The Coordinator reports to the CDFCP Program Manager.
