Job Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement highly optimized algorithms
• Collaborating with the Cloud development team for delivering the best product and user experience to our clients
• Developing and testing code in Python/Django/Redis/Postgres for the backend
• Developing and testing Angular4+ code for the frontend
• Developing and testing microservices using Python/Flask/Django/Celery
• Writing/testing/optimizing docker-based microservices
• Getting involved in our daily CI/CD processes

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or related field
• Being a critical thinker and problem solver
• 3+ years experience in Python programming
• 1+ year programming in Django web framework
• 1+ Experience in frontend development using Angular or other javascript frameworks
• Knowledge of version control software such as Git (2+ year experience)
• Excellent communication skills

Preferences

• Having a deep understanding of the operating systems and their concepts.
• Knowledge of microservice based architecture
• Knowledge of GraphQL
• Experience in using one of the cloud web services (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
• Experience in Kubernetes or other cluster orchestration tools
• Experience in Mobile Application development (Xamarin, Android or iOS native)

Work Location

Our office is located in Ottawa, Canada. Candidates must hold a valid work permit or be eligible to work in Canada.
