Compugen is seeking a Senior Voice Engineer for an initial 6 month contract with extensions. Candidates must currently reside within Metro Vancouver.

The Senior Voice Engineer to support a variety of voice telephony infrastructure projects including Oracle SIP Infrastructure components which includes Oracle Enterprise Connection Broker (ECB) Enterprise Operations Monitor (EOM) Session Border Controller (SBC).

The resource is required to plan, deploy, test, commission, and document a SIP Core Network upgrade to the Oracle components in support of an MS Team rollout.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate expert-level knowledge and possess real-world experience and references of successfully delivering projects of similar complexity or size /magnitude.
• Possess at least 2 years of hands-on experience with complex service provider-level SIP Network and associated troubleshooting.
• Have experience with deploying transcoders, header manipulation rules, normalizing SIP traffic and other VOIP PBX interconnections.
• Have experience with Firewalls, SIP Trunking, Peering and QoS and associated voice technologies.
• Have experience with Oracle/ACME Packet SIP components and systems

Desirable skillset:

• Have certification from Oracle or ACME Packet SIP systems.

Qualifications:

• A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a university degree or technical diploma in a program such as communications technology plus appropriate vendor network certification, and four years of recent voice networking experience.
• Three years of demonstrated experience with voice network equipment implementation/planning, site assessments, low voltage cabling, racking and physical commissioning of voice and network equipment, application of network standards and network issues.
