Position Purpose

:



Develop and implement long-term Real Property Services contract management and partnership strategies, practices, and capabilities for the management of all IO and Broader Public Sector asset classes in line with government infrastructure goals and growing service mandates. Ensure seamless and consistent service levels across all GREP asset classes and all outsource service providers and Landlord service provision in the delivery of Real Property Services. Provide direction and leadership to the Asset Renewal Management team in overseeing the asset renewal planning for the portfolio and execution on asset renewal projects.


What You Will Do

:


Lead the current outsourced service delivery for the owned and leased Ontario Government - General Real Estate Portfolio and transition to a steady state of new Real Property and Transaction Services contracts. Identify gaps and opportunities, educate the Asset Management and Modernization division, and build a new team of high-caliber professionals. Manage contract oversight and partner relationships to ensure the objectives of the service delivery contracts are realized and professionally managed in alignment with Asset Management strategies. Drive engagement of all IO and partner stakeholders, implement procedures for consistency, and develop a governance structure across all outsourced service lines. Ensure service delivery approaches are consistently applied across all service provider contracts. Develop consistent inspection, quality verification, and documentation methods, and evaluate business processes to integrate team activities with other business units. Provide direction and leadership to the Asset Renewal Management team in overseeing the asset renewal planning and prioritization for the portfolio aligned with Asset Management plans and portfolio strategies. execution on asset renewal projects. Oversee decision-making information to support project tactical plans and capital budget submissions.



What We Are Looking For

:


Relevant professional learnings in Engineering, Business, or Social Sciences. Extensive experience in contract management, asset management, and real estate services Designations/Certifications/Licenses: CPA, CMA, PMP, FMP, P. Eng., B. Arch. Strong leadership and team-building skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex projects and budgets. Extensive experience and political acuity in understanding government nomenclature, processes, culture, and procedures relating to briefing government officials and executives, judicial officials, and Treasury Board officials. Proficiency and temperament in managing at a high level, fast-paced environment with ambiguous direction and decision-making by various stakeholders. Ability to balance managing a transforming organization while delivering results.
