CEDA is looking for a Senior Travel Coordinator to join our team. As the Senior Travel Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a centralized corporate travel program. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources this role will work closely with various divisions within CEDA, and manage corporate travel for CEDA personnel, ensuring alignment with the Travel Policy. This position can be based out of our Calgary or Edmonton office and will be eligible for our hybrid office & work from home model. Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Arrange and manage all business travel and accommodation booking requests
  • Problem solve challenges such as travel emergencies, delays and last minute changes
  • Develop, administer and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Oversee administration and performance of all travel related contracts
  • Work with the Travel Management Company in negotiations with suppliers
  • Developing KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and opportunities for individual traveler improvements and cost effective solutions
  • Assisting finance with monthly travel cost reconciliation
  • Other duties as assigned
Role Specifications
  • 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an administration or coordination role supporting large projects
  • A diploma or certificate in Travel, Business, Finance, or related field is an asset
  • Experience within the travel industry is an asset
  • Ability to compile and analyze monthly travel data is required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills to analyze data
Skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work within a deadline-oriented environment
  • Prior knowledge of travel logistics and travel booking platforms
  • Detail oriented \xe2\x80\x93 you pay attention to the small things
  • Excited by change, shifting priorities and problem solving
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills coupled with a customer service focus
