Our Reliability Centre of Excellence team ensures that Reliability by Design is embedded within our network and services architecture and operations while maintaining a reliability-focused culture across TELUS.

As a Senior Technical Architect, you will be at the front end leading the development of an innovative platform that drives unparalleled visibility into the end to end customer experience. The expectation is to go above and beyond your role in working with like-minded, entrepreneurial colleagues to build solutions that enable a holistic view of each customer, elevate our processes and service offerings, and lay the foundation for personalization. You will build roadmaps, policies, standards and frameworks across the domains of network, infrastructure, applications and data.

Additional factors that make you a great member to our team
  • Background experience in telecommunications
  • Familiar with wireless and wireline OSS network & systems (performance and service management data that the systems deal with)
  • Enterprise and system architecture experience
  • Requirements gathering and analysis
  • 5+ years of experience in development of architecture roadmaps, frameworks, policies, standards and related processes
  • Advanced proficiency working with multiple development languages, technology platforms, and data modeling
  • Degree in science, math, engineering, computer science, or other technology related discipline
Technical Skills
  • Experience with SQL
  • Oracle development (highly preferred - Ralph)
  • Relational modeling
  • Data transfer formats (JSON, XML and other data)
  • UNIX scripting, Control M, NIFI, Hadoop
  • Data management / engineering
