Job Description

- Managing and preparing quarterly and annual tax provisions for the company and its subsidiaries in accordance with U.S. GAAP; coordinating the annual audit with external auditors to ensure its timely completion.
- Preparing U.S. corporate federal and state quarterly tax installments and tax extensions.
- Preparing U.S corporate and partnership tax returns and other annual informational returns.
- Preparing Canadian federal and provincial tax returns and other annual informational returns.
- Help with U.S. federal and state audits; providing support and advice to subsidiary companies for all income and commodity tax audits.
- Effectively communicate tax matters with subsidiaries of FirstService including providing tax advice and support on various tax related matters.
- Ensure compliance with FirstService\'s financial reporting controls (SOX).
