Are you a recruiter looking to gain in-house experience with a dynamic and highly creative mid-sized organization? Our national client has partnered with Stacey Danley, Senior Partner, on the search for the newly created role of Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. This role will be based out of the head office in Winnipeg and requires being in-office one day per week.

The successful candidate will join a growing HR team, advising managers across the country on talent sourcing and selection processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Full cycle recruitment including revamping or implementing new recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Supporting managers with hiring decisions which align with the organization's commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging
  • Working closely with the marketing department to leverage social media and advertising
  • Liaising with the team to build a talent value proposition and collaborating with senior leaders to develop plans for future talent needs
  • Managing the selection process, keeping candidates engaged and delivering an exceptional candidate experience
  • Creating talent pipelines and maintaining relationships with passive candidates
  • Creating efficiencies and tracking data for optimum recruiting metrics
Qualifications:
  • Previous talent acquisition experience in either an in-house or agency environment
  • A demonstrated ability to proactively source candidates and utilize innovate sourcing techniques
  • Previous experience managing the full-cycle recruitment process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A team-focused approach
  • A high level of proficiency with technology
