General Accountability

Plans and conducts feasibility studies, develops systems business requirement definitions, develops systems designs, directs system build and implementation, and develops methods and procedures for systems of major complexity. The position formulates logical statements of administrative, scientific and/or technical problems and devises solutions.

Key Job Functions

  • Develop and implement new computer systems and enhances old systems by assessing business problems and requirements, and lead the process in providing and implementing computer systems solutions
  • Lead the technical analysis, provide technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for business engagement through entire project development lifecycle
  • Plan, supervise and direct work to ensure the technical team acquires sustainable knowledge, skills and technical competencies and that the goals and objectives of the section are achieved
  • Promotes a respectful work and service environment that supports diversity, inclusion, and is free from harassment and discrimination. Provides leadership in the development and implementation of inclusive and accessible policies, programs and/or services for employees and customers in accordance with TTC's commitments and obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC) and Related Orders, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and TTC's policies

Education and Experience

Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a relevant discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.

Additional Requirements
  • Significant SAP SuccessFactors implementation experience with emphasis on at least one of the following modules: Employee Central (EC), Recruiting (RCM), Onboarding (ONB) and Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Proven experience leading the design, development, configuration and implementation of key HR business processes within SuccessFactors (EC, RCM, ONB, LMS) based on SAP best practices and aligned with business requirements
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of SuccessFactors, able to make recommendations aligned with the future direction of SAP's technology roadmap and industry trends
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of SAP ECC HR/HCM, and configuration of relevant SAP modules such as RCM (Requisition Templates, Requisition Route/Approval Workflows, Picklists), ONB (Forms, Notifications, Picklists, Process Flows, New Employee Portal, EC (Foundation Object, Rules, Transactions - Event Reasons, Alerts, Notifications, Workflows)
  • Strong understanding and experience with SuccessFactors across modules integrations
  • Strong understanding and experience with SuccessFactors to SAP onpremise integration
  • Demonstrated experience leading workshops with stakeholders to understand business requirements and align them with standard SuccessFactors functionality where possible
  • Proven experience in providing project and/or sustainment support as required (for example, planning, change management, communications, testing, training, go-live and post go-live support activities)
  • Knowledge in completing SuccessFactors' documentation and materials such as Configuration Workbooks, Solution Design Documents and Functional Specifications
  • Experience with the configuration and development of role based permissions to ensure appropriate user functionality, while keeping aligned with SAP best practices
  • Experience with the analysis and testing of SAP SuccessFactors releases to assure up-to-date SAP functionality
  • SAP SuccessFactors certification is a definite asset
  • Have led at least 3 end-to-end SuccessFactors implementations would be preferred
  • SAP SuccessFactors provisioning experience is preferred
