About The Role



Axiom Builders is looking for an experienced Senior Superintendent to start and lead a landmark project in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. This redevelopment will bring two new mixed-use towers out of the ground - combining residential, hospitality, and amenity spaces into one major build.

As Senior Superintendent, you'll be steering the project from excavation to occupancy, working closely with the project team, consultants, partners and trades to keep the site moving safely, on time, and to the highest standard of quality.

In this role, you'll have the autonomy to run the site day to day, while knowing you've got the backing and resources of a seasoned leadership team to keep you supported.

Project Operations

Take full responsibility for site performance, cost, budget, schedule, safety, and quality, to deliver on time and on budget. Lead site operations from groundbreaking to occupancy, ensuring trades, logistics, and workflows meet the plan. Anticipate risks early, resolve conflicts, and protect both schedule and workmanship.

Safety and Quality Leadership

Champion a culture of safety by leading inspections, audits, and training, and holding crews and subcontractors accountable. Enforce quality standards on all work, ensuring compliance with codes, drawings, and client expectations. Drive processes that result in clean inspections, deficiency-free turnover, and smooth occupancy.

Operational Excellence

Oversee site setup, crane/hoist logistics, and safety programs that maximize productivity without compromising safety. Review drawings to catch conflicts early and deliver practical, cost-saving solutions. Maintain accurate documentation, contracts, and reporting in Procore for full visibility and accountability.

Team Leadership and Culture

Mentor site teams with coaching and clear expectations, building accountability and pride in safe, high-quality work. Foster a collaborative, solutions-focused culture on site that aligns with company values. Keep communication open with project managers, clients, and consultants to resolve challenges quickly.
