As a Senior Strategy Manager you support the TELUS Cybersecurity Product and Services team to mobilize our strategies to meet the evolving technology needs of our business customers. The Product and Services team collaborates with adjacent Portfolio Directors and the Chief Security Office on a variety of activities including annual planning, strategic projects, development of strategic presentations, results management, reporting and process improvement programs. The team is at the center of executing on our Cybersecurity Product and Services strategy and you play a vital role in providing strategic thinking as well as the responsibility to execute on plan.

Here's how

  • Help develop presentations on service roadmaps, strategy and other topics for various internal and customer audiences (all levels of management)
  • Lead Product team capital planning and reporting for our Cybersecurity product investments
  • Collaborate with new product service introduction teams to plan, execute and deliver integrated Cybersecurity services for our customers
  • Promote, support and share Cybersecurity Product strategic plans and roadmaps with our key stakeholders
  • Work with the Product team to help translate strategic plans into integrated tactical plans - including governance, metrics and integrated reporting.
  • Lead the coordination of annual planning and support teams with consolidation of plans, interlock and alignment against priorities and goals
  • Support business cases reviews for new services and enhancements through collaboration with the Product Managers, Cybersecurity DevOps, Sales and adjacent TBS product teams for optimal investment and resource allocations.
  • Stay informed about evolving Cybersecurity market trends and customer needs

  • Outstanding communication and collaboration.The Cybersecurity Product team is constantly in conversation with key organizational stakeholders and leaders. You are expected to have excellent presentation skills, confidence in your analysis and have an open minded approach to influence decision making. You are highly effective in utilizing collaboration tools (Google Workspace) to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to present complex concepts to senior leaders. You are able to simplify complex ideas into simple to understand concepts through your effective storytelling.
  • A passion for collaborating and strategic thinking. You enjoy getting to the truth, working with subject matter experts, including the voice of the customer and continually improving the way we do business.
  • An effective aptitude to execute on strategic plans. You have the ability to drive strategic plans with tangible next steps, executing them in concert with the team.
  • High level of attention to detail and professional rigor regarding work deliverables - organized, deliberate and reliable in structuring work.
Great-to-haves
  • University degree
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to effectively prioritize to meet deadlines
  • 7-10 years of equivalent experience in product management strategy or execution
  • Infectious positive attitude focused on delivering differentiated value for TELUS customers
  • Broad knowledge of Cybersecurity, Networking and IT industry
  • Consulting and reporting skills
  • Influence and negotiation skills
  • ITIL or Six Sigma certifications
  • CISSP, CISM or other relevant Cybersecurity certifications
  • Bilingual (English and French) an asset
