:

We are seeking an experienced

Software Developer

to join our team in delivering enterprise-level data and business intelligence solutions within a public sector environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining BI dashboards, reports, and related data solutions while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability across multiple platforms.

This role requires strong technical expertise in

Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Storage, ADF, and Azure Analysis Services

, as well as a solid understanding of

data analysis, modeling, and reporting

in large-scale environments. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively across technical and business teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate technical specifications into working, tested applications. Develop detailed programming specifications, write and generate code, and perform unit testing. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising during software development, implementation, or migration. Design and develop BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements. Implement, maintain, and support BI solutions in Microsoft and other BI platforms. Conduct impact assessments on Oracle E-Business application customizations and extensions. Curate and model data from multiple data sources for optimal reporting and analytics. Optimize SQL queries and implement performance tuning in data pipelines and reports. Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define, document, and refine requirements. Provide post-implementation technical support and quality assurance oversight. Maintain technical documentation for "as built" reports and data transformations. Remain up to date with evolving BI, analytics, and cloud technology trends.

Required Skills and Experience:

(Must Haves)

5+ years

of experience in

data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting

in medium to large enterprise environments (analytics, data modeling, data mining, report conversion, and data cleansing). Hands-on experience with

Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Analysis Services

. Proven experience designing and developing

BI dashboards and reports

based on business requirements. Experience in

implementing, maintaining, and supporting BI solutions

using Microsoft and other BI platforms.

Nice to Have:

Experience working with a

CRM system

(e.g., Dynamics 365). Experience with

OPS Transfer Payment (Grant) Model

. Prior

public sector experience

. Knowledge of

AODA compliance standards

. Experience with

Oracle E-Business Suite modules (GL, AR, AP, Collections, Inventory)

and

PL/SQL

scripting.
