Our Valued Public sector client is seeking a Senior Secret Cleared Data Scientist to support COTS applications and develop complex data sets in Python on Data Modernization Projects

Description:

Our Client continues to deploy multiple internal developed applications and COTS; and technologies to support the integration of corporate projects involving Business Process and Forms, Collaboration, CRM, Data Modernization, Canada.ca integration and Portals. The projects will focus on planning, deploying, and targeting new or significant modifications of existing and new enterprise implementations. Our Client is also planning for the ongoing support of existing and future products and development technologies and can foresee the use of other technologies as needed. Our Client equires Informatics Professional Services in various Technologies delivery mechanism to plan, design, build, test, implement, configure/develop, support, enhance and maintain various current and future infrastructure and data services, products, technologies, and back/front-office projects.

Must Have:
10+ years devloping Python with complex Data sets

Tasks:

• Develop and prepare data solution to solve business, scientific and technical problems by means of computer systems of significant size and complexity;
• Develop value and insights out of data;
• Develop data visualizations;
• Data mining;
• Enhancing data collection process;
• Develop sentiment analysis and text analysis;
• Design detailed programs, flow charts, and diagrams indicating mathematical computation and sequence of machine learning, artificial intelligence necessary to develop data solution and products;
• Verify accuracy and completeness of data solutions and data products and testing them
• Develop data transformations, combinations, and aggregations
• Analyze data to identify patterns and trends that can be used to help the business achieve its objectives;
• Solve business-related problems using data-driven techniques;
• Correct program errors by revising instructions or altering the sequence of operations;
• Test instructions, and assemble specifications, flow charts, diagrams, layouts, programming, and operating instructions to document data solutions for later modification or reference;
• Work in JIRA, Cherwell, Azure DevOps, and SQL Change Automation;
• Provide support in daily operational tasks, analysis, diagnosis, recommendation, configuring, and implementation to changes, bugs, and emergency fixes;
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to clients on virtual machines and data science tools

• Status reports that shall include as a minimum: task worked on, work completed, time spent on task, new issues/problems, status of new/previous issues/problems;
• Written estimated levels of effort for tasks;
• Technical plan for the data product solution;
• Knowledge transfer to support team;
• Data mining Data cleansing;
• Train data model;
• Present finding, procedures, algorithms;
