Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is a leading global provider of environmental, health, safety, risk, and social and sustainability consulting services. We are currently seeking a Management Consultant - Social Performance/ Regulatory Engagement Coordinator to join our team in Vancouver, BC, Calgary, AB, Toronto, ON, or one of our other Canadian offices to support our Canadian Regulatory and Permitting team. Applicants may be based remotely but should be willing to travel occasionally to one of ERMs offices or to a client site, as needed. The role requires experience in the infrastructure or natural resource development sector including with the renewable energy, transportation, oil and gas, or mining sectors. The role also requires an understanding of applicable provincial/territorial and federal regulatory and permitting requirements, including understanding of how community and Indigenous communities are engaged as part of these processes. Some exposure to environmental effects analysis, and an interest in applying knowledge and skills to solve complex regulatory challenges across multiple sectors (including mining, energy, and marine transportation) in BC and Canada, is beneficial. The successful candidate will become a senior member of ERM Canadas Regulatory and Permitting team with ties to the Social Performance team and will be connected with ERMs global team of environmental and social experts.
