Faris CPA is Looking For a Senior Accountant With at Least 5 Years of Experience at a Canadian Public Accounting Firm. Requirements: -Corporate tax knowledge is a MUST -Personal tax knowledge and extensive experience in preparing T1s is a MUST -Knowledge in Taxprep (T2s and T1s) and Caseware is a MUST -CPA designation is an asset -Audit and review engagement experience is an asset -Must be able to work independently Job description: -Preparing many years of complex personal and corporate tax returns. This would include performing the required bookkeeping and submitting a complete file for review - Preparing packages to dispute CRA decisions. This includes personal and corporate tax returns -Preparing multiple years of personal tax returns and year ends -Being able to meet pressing deadlines -Willing to accept instructions and implement them accordingly -Performing forensic accounting -Preparing Compilation paperless files using Caseware -Performing all types of reconciliations including; shareholder accounts, inter-company accounts, etc. -Providing back-up with proper cross referencing for all types of accounts and reconciliations -All work is done on a contract basis and individuals are contractors for tax purposes -This job is fully remote and all work is done online -Experience using Caseware and Taxprep is a must as no training will be provided -Faris CPA will request references from previous employers Job Types: Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 60 months Salary: $53,453.00-$96,650.00 per year Flexible Language Requirement:
