Opportunity Summary We are looking for a strategic pursuit specialist, an excellent communicator, marketer, and writer to grow our business nationally. Reporting to the Business Development Director, we are looking for a team player who can lead a pursuit process, manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and execute with detail-oriented precision. We are an innovative, growing team with lots of enthusiasm and looking to add a fun, motivated Proposal and Marketing Specialist to our team! Key Responsibilities - Develop creative, compelling, and winning proposals (RFI, RFQ, and RFP\xe2\x80\x99s) and presentations that set us apart.
- Manage the proposal process: Creating winning proposal strategy, leading proposal kickoff meetings, setting timelines for proposal development, review, and submission.
- Improve quality of proposals, seeking continual improvement in our submission look, tone, and win themes.
- On a continual basis with yearly goals, works to improve our proposal processes, templates and systems.
- Continually update database of project information for use in pursuit efforts, including project profiles, images, resumes, boilerplate content etc.
- Seek and track opportunities for new business by monitoring bid sites, preparing summary and go/no go documents.
- Update CRM, Pipeline and Proposal Tracker, participating in weekly business development strategy meetings, keeping the team up-to-date on proposal statuses.
- Update website and LinkedIn content, building company network and applying marketing strategies using social media channels. Supportive Responsibilities - Build collaborative relationships across the business groups and external stakeholders.
- Create corporate and promotional materials as needed (brochures, etc.)

- 5+ years of experience working in a proposal/marketing capacity within a construction, engineering, or architectural services industry preferred with a proposal driven role in another industry considered.
- A bachelor\'s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field like journalism.
- Exceptional organization, analytical, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of strategic proposal development processes.
- Ability to manage, balance & support multiple projects, deadlines, project teams and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Team player with ability to motivate others and stimulate creativity.
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office, with Adobe InDesign or graphics skills a plus.
