Position Overview



Regency Capital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Property Manager to oversee our portfolio of Office and Industrial properties in the Greater Toronto Area. The Commercial Property Manager will play a key role in developing and executing property management strategies, optimizing property performance, and driving value enhancement initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the growth of the portfolio, with potential to expand the role into other areas of interest including leasing and land development.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee day to day management of the properties. Ensure superior tenant relations. Supervise direct reports to ensure high standards are maintained in accordance with established building policies. Responsible for building revenue and expenses including preparing and operating within an approved budget; analyzing monthly financial statements and preparation of monthly management report. Oversee accounts receivable to ensure they are maintained at an acceptable level. Administer leases to ensure all Landlord and Tenant requirements are fulfilled. Working alongside the Construction team, ensure capital projects including building improvements and leasehold improvements are properly implemented. Supervise and/or develop appropriate operating procedures for the properties ensuring a high level of maintenance practices. Work co-operatively with Leasing team to support achievement of budgeted leasing projections.

Experience and Qualifications:



Minimum 8 years property management experience in commercial portfolios, with a focus on industrial warehouse and office properties. Sustainability - Experience with BOMA certification and other sustainable programs is an asset. Relationship/Leadership Skills - Able to communicate effectively and professionally, both oral and written; able to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships with senior management, contractors, tenants and the public. Organizational/Multi-Task Skills - Able to allocate one's time effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines; able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities, adapt to new ideas and constant changes. Decision Making Skills - Able to resolve problems using facts and sound reasoning; able to achieve goals using a strategic approach; proven innovation with a willingness to manage and adapt to change. Preference to post secondary education. RPA or CPM designation is desired. Computer Skills - Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft office, e-mail required. Working knowledge of Yardi is an asset.
