JOB DESCRIPTION - SASKTEL CONTRACTED SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (PM) ROLE Certifications & Education Requirements: ? Project Management Institute-Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) Certification is required ? Certified in People Change Management (e.g. Prosci) is desired ? Education and training normally gained through post-secondary education at the University or Technical Institute level in one of the following: o Computer Science o Business Administration o Engineering ? Any additional applicable certification(s) not listed above but are significant to Senior Project Manager role (eg: Agile, Scrum, Kanban) Skills & Experience: Overall Senior Project Manager:

• Minimum eight (8) years of experience as a Senior Project Manager
• Proven experience with project budgeting, cost tracking and cost control
• Proven experience managing project scope, schedule, milestones, and risk factors
• Proven experience managing and holding third party vendors accountable
• Proven experience in managing complex IT projects including but not limited to managing requirements, solution design, development, and testing
• Proven experience managing cross divisional project teams and working with various stakeholders including Executive Management
• Proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and priorities
• Previous experience and strong knowledge in Agile and Agile/Hybrid methodology

Skills & Experience: Specific to Genesys Senior Project Manager: ? Minimum five (5) years of experience managing projects focused on Genesys call center software (eg: voice, chat channels, implementation of bots) ? Industry experience in Call Center technology (IVR and CRM - Customer Relationship Management) ? Strong technical experience in one or more: software development; hardware; operating systems; networking knowledge Skills & Experience: Specific to Information Systems Senior Project Manager: ? Minimum five (5) years of experience managing projects in one or more of the following areas: ? telecommunications and network technologies ? Information and Communication Technology (ICT) products and services ? Information Systems applications including both on-premise and cloud ? IT infrastructure Responsibilities: Will include, but not be limited to: ? Accountable for all aspects of the project (or phase) over the entire project life. ? Responsible for project deliverables. In doing so the Consultant will be responsible for managing the schedule, budget, scope, issues, risks, and communications. ? Act as the single point of contact and escalation for the project. ? Demonstrate strong leadership qualities in organization, planning, facilitation, risk analysis, controlling, negotiation and communications (verbal and written). ? Core competencies such as initiative, relationship building, influencing others, problem solving and decision making. ? Manage the overall project including: o Facilitating the development of a Business Case using SaskTel templates and processes. o Facilitating the development of a Project Plan using SaskTel templates and processes. o Establishing the project schedule, monitoring schedule performance and reporting on progress. o Monitoring spending and ensuring adherence to budget. Responsible for project cost reporting. o Project communication including communicating status to executives and sponsors. Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
