Location: Regina, Saskatchewan

As a Senior Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to showcase and develop your PM skills by working with other program and project professionals; accessing project management training opportunities, and further developing via a formal project management career path.

Must Have Skills:

- Minimum eight (8) years of experience as a Senior Project Manager
- Proven experience with project budgeting, cost tracking, and cost control
- Proven experience managing project scope, schedule, milestones, and risk factors
- Proven experience managing and holding third party vendors accountable
- Proven experience in managing complex IT projects including but not limited to managing requirements, solution design, development, and testing
- Proven experience managing cross divisional project teams and working with various stakeholders including Executive Management
- Proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and priorities
- Previous experience and strong knowledge in Agile and Agile/Hybrid methodology

Specific to Genesys Senior Project Manager:

- Minimum five (5) years of experience managing projects focused on Genesys call center software (eg: voice, chat channels, implementation of bots)
- Industry experience in Call Center technology (IVR and CRM - Customer Relationship Management)
- Strong technical experience in one or more: software development; hardware; operating systems; networking knowledge

Will include, but not be limited to:
- Accountable for all aspects of the project (or phase) over the entire project life.
- Responsible for project deliverables. In doing so the Consultant will be responsible for managing the schedule, budget, scope, issues, risks, and communications.
- Act as the single point of contact and escalation for the project.
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities in organization, planning, facilitation, risk analysis, controlling, negotiation and communications (verbal and written).
- Core competencies such as initiative, relationship building, influencing others, problem solving and decision making.
- Manage the overall project including:
o Facilitating the development of a Business Case using clients templates and processes.
o Facilitating the development of a Project Plan using clients templates and processes.
o Establishing the project schedule, monitoring schedule performance and reporting on progress.
o Monitoring spending and ensuring adherence to budget. Responsible for project cost reporting.
o Project communication including communicating status to executives and sponsors.

Nice to Have Skills:

- Project Management Institute-Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) Certification is required
- Certified in People Change Management (e.g. Prosci) is desired
- Education and training normally gained through post-secondary education at the University or Technical Institute level in one of the following:
o Computer Science
o Business Administration
o Engineering

- Any additional applicable certification(s) not listed above but are significant to Senior Project Manager role (eg: Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
