Leads delivery on multiple concurrent initiatives across Retail Credit Risk (GRM) and Metadata (CDO) with a high level of complexity and uncertainty, including managing project scope, requirements change, multiple and competing demands, and priorities as well as determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk using appropriate fact-based metrics and assumptions.
Leads activities on planning, delivery, and implementation to ensure enterprise-wide strategic goals and objectives are accomplished within approved time frames, scope, and budget.
Leads team & liaises with RBC business & functions and service partners, including external third-party vendors, where applicable.
Evaluates and provides guidance during the general and detailed planning stages of large-scale enterprise-wise initiatives, developing strategies to ensure all workstreams are cohesive and in line with organizational goals.
Support the design and monitoring of the initiative's goals. Translates the vision into high level scope, design, and executables.
Establishes, develops, and maintains strong relationships with RBC business, GRM, and T&O partners.
Seeks input and prepares program roadmap, project, and/or implementation plans aligned with stakeholders' direction.
Anticipates and quantifies tactical, operational, and strategic risks applying risk-based approach to forecasting.
Manages scope using appropriate fact-based metrics/assumptions.
Manage resource planning and project scheduling and establish policies and procedures that produce high-quality and sustainable results.
Conducts delivery in accordance with RBC Financial Group's standard project management discipline, consistently following RBC's Program Management Framework
Champions & operationalizes strong program governance and execution assurance processes.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have:
Undergraduate degree, CSM
Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
Exceptional organizational change management skills and knowledge of best practices.
Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT.
Demonstrated skill working effectively with a diverse group of key stakeholders and experience fostering an inclusive environment.
Nice to have:
Strong background in risk
Experience with Jira and Confluence
