manage every aspect of custom architectural projects, from concept through installation, with a high level of proficiency, including:
communicate and set expectations with clients, architects, designers, and other stakeholders
understand and manage architectural principles and engineering requirements
determine resource requirements (including materials and/or services) based on project specifications
research and analyze project elements, source materials, parts, equipment, and services
review, generate, and negotiate contracts
assess and manage risk, including material lead times and supply chain, in-house design and fabrication timelines, quality control, site requirements and limitations, logistics, and resource requirements
prioritize work based on strategic importance, tasks outstanding, barriers, budgets, resources, and deadlines
ABOUT YOU
7+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in project management in a related industry
first hand experience with various materials and fabrication processes
flexibility and phenomenal problem-solving and planning skills
background in the architectural, internal manufacturing, or construction industries
a strong understanding of building systems, materials, construction methods, and architectural detailing
experience in client-facing roles
post-secondary education in architecture, engineering, or similar
experience with project management principles and techniques
strong organization skills
process driven with flexibility to adapt to unique situations
experience with a variety of materials like metal, wood, solid surfaces (Corian), fabric, and acrylic
curiosity and a willingness to learn
